Masquerade started as a small corner shop, in 2000, at the height of Cath Kidston’s ‘Shabby-Chic’ phase,
bursting at the seams with vintage items sourced from local auctions.
The ‘auction-hopping’ continued and later expanded to Europe and South America,
focusing on French style furniture, linen and décor items.
Today, in it’s bigger space, Masquerade still overflows, the vintage items replaced with a more contemporary offering –
French soaps, body and bath products, scented candles, fine table, bedroom and bathroom linen, exquisite curtains and quirky stationery, to name a few.
In our Franschhoek shop you will also find old-style silverware, lights, mirrors, kitchen and glassware as well as other interesting décor items.
We hope to see you soon at Masquerade –
just one of many reasons to visit this special corner of our country – Franschhoek Wine Valley.
OUR FRANSCHHOEK TEAM LOOKS FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU
