See through my eyes, get into my head, join me on my journey…
I need to explain where tea lights come from:
These round tin-encased candles were placed under a teapot to keep tea warm, hence the word tea light. Today, the humble tealight has become an integral part of any home in creating an instant ambiance.
The beauty of tealights, also known as votifs, is that they can effortlessly be placed in almost any container or holder, exuding a soft and romantic light.
I have a slight obsession with tea light holders, hence the extensive collection of such holders in Masquerade. I also love combining different sizes, shapes and textures of clear glass holders on a table.
In my world there are no rules except for keeping glass containers clear and uncoloured as they will greatly enhance the playful shimmering of tea lights, adding life to any dinner table.
Masquerade’s tea lights burn for approximately four hours (not all tealights burn this long), lasting for the duration of a successful dinner!
Don’t forget to use the ingenious tea light grabber tool, imported by Masquerade. We all know the frustration of burning fingers and dying flames as we drop the tea lights into their holders – NO MORE!
Bon Appetite!
