Metal Flower
Bouquet

An everlasting bouquet

This hand crafted bouquet is made from painted metal flowers like roses, anemones and daisies, arranged over an oval wire frame, with serrated green leaves and pale ferns fanning out between them. The flowers are painted in soft blush pinks, buttery yellows and creams, with dark centres. The paint is speckled and softened with age, which gives them the look of blooms that have dried on the stem.

The bouquet stands on a dark, brown cast base with three feet and a pierced front panel. It’s a nod to the painted tinware (tôle peinte) of old French homes and chapels, and makes a romantic centrepiece for a console table, a mantelpiece or a sideboard. It never needs water and never wilts.
